A traditional memory game with Moomin-themed pictures on the pairs of cards. At the beginning of the game, all the cards, except for Stinky, are shuffled and placed face down on the game table. The cards can be placed in rows or mixed up. The youngest player starts the game. He turns over two cards and gets them if they form a pair. The player who received a pair may continue turning the cards as long as pairs are formed. If the cards turned over by the player do not form a pair, they are turned back to their place face down and the turn goes to the next player, who begins to turn over the cards. The game continues until all picture cards have been matched. The player who finds the most pairs is the winner of the game.

The game can also be modified by including the Stinky card in the game. The game is played according to the rules of a traditional memory game except when the player turns over the Stinky. In this case, the Stinky and all the remaining cards on the table are shuffled and the turn goes to the next player.
